Pittsford Florist and Blossoms by Cosentino are as much about our long standing relationships with our customers as we are about our designs. We have made many friends over the years watching our customers and their children grow up celebrating birthdays, holidays, weddings and anniversaries. Through happy and sad times, we have been there to provide flowers to make the day beautiful. Everyday we have new visitors stop by our stores and website. We welcome you to become part of our family and look forward to a long term relationship with you in the future.

Joe Cosentino's great grandfather started growing and selling flowers in Italy.  Flowers have always been part of the Cosentino families lives for 4 generations.  his great grandparents brought 9 children with them to the United States, when they entered through Ellis island in 1920.  Here the land of opportunity, they could further prosper in the flower business.  As the children grew, eight entered into the floral industry either growing or selling.  Joe's grandmother Phyllis, opened Cosentino's Florist in Auburn, NY in 1933 with her husband Carmen.  They had three boys, two of whom also went into the flower industry.  Her youngest, Ron went out on his own to open his own store while her son Carmen ran her store eventually taking over and still running it today.  Ron owned and operated Flower Fashions in Seneca Falls, NY for twenty years before selling and later opening Pittsford Florist in Pittsford, NY.  Growing up Joe studied Horticulture at SUNY Alfred to later become a Class A Golf Course Superintendent.  He couldn't get away for the lure of flowers though and in 2003 Joe & Kelley bought Pittsford Florist from Ron who had decided to retire.  In 2008 Joe & Kelley wanting to expand their business purchased the Flower Fashions store and renamed it Blossoms By Cosentino.  Both of our stores reflect the same quality flowers and service that the Cosentino family has given their customers over the past 90 years. We have been recognized by Teleflora as a top 1000 florist in the United States.  We take great pride in making sure our product is fresh as possible to give you the customer a beautiful long lasting arrangement.  We back our flowers with our exclusive 5 day freshness guarantee.  This gives our customers the assurance that if Mother Nature's flowers start to wilt within 5 days they can return them for replacement with no questions asked.

Our shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

We are closed on Sundays.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least two days prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

A local delivery fee of $7.95 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 11:00 a.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
